'FlashForward' - 'Course Correction' Recap

May 7th 2010 12:05PM (AOL TV)
This episode made me think that perhaps the course correction is the characters forcing their futures to fit what they saw in their flashfoward. A previous episode mentiond alternate universes a la "Fringe." Perhaps we ultimately learn that the flashforwards were windows to an alternate universe (why Olivia was with Lloyd, etc.) and due to the fact that there was the date of March 29 everyone misinterpreted these visions to be future events of our universe.

The Office: Lecture Circuit

Feb 6th 2009 11:27AM (AOL TV)
The way this season has been going where I expect them to follow typical cliches for their plot lines, only to completely go in another direction, I see Michael getting promoted into Jan/Ryan's vacated position only to hate being in NY and missing his tiny office and bunch of misfits. That would be the perfect Michael. Jan loved the position for the power and control. Ryan loved the position for the money and glitz of being in NY. Michael is the anti Jan/Ryan and would be miserable there. This would follow in line with why Jim has lately been given story lines where he is in control of the office. It shows that it is REALLY hard being a people manager and that even though we all think Michael is a loser/whacko, he is very good at what he gets paid to be, your boss.

Nvidia: saying graphics don't matter is 'nonsense'

Feb 2nd 2007 3:57PM (Joystiq)
Advanced graphics are getting to point where the characters are realistic looking but suffer from emotionless AI. Look at the new sports games, the character models look amazing but they have "soulless" eyes. It won't be long before we reach the "Uncanny Valley" when we will subconsciously detest the game we are watching and will yearn for a return to simpler versions.
