FYI...this game is already out in my area. Fry's has it. I even asked them why they had it early. I don't play this game anymore so I didn't by it; also figured that once installed I probably wouldn't be able to play it until its release. If you're around Sacramento the Fry's has it. No joke.
Have to be honest but he is right. I never played LOTRO because of the screens I saw of it and went 'ewww not my style' and then I played it.....I still consider it best graphics in an MMO right now, in my opinion.....Breathtaking backgrounds.
I play aion often and enjoy it (flog here...I did a one shot). When it comes.to customer service ncsoft is bad with communication. I was banned a week for no reason and then given that game time back. as far as community spot on. aion actually has a very good community I found out but two things 1) the "rude" people are a lot more vocal whereas the vets take a backseat and 2) this is a pvp game...regardless of faction there will be lots of sarcasm.
Looking forward to the double xp weekend. I am only level 24 but, for the past week, I have been leveling my tapping experience and my aether and essance are at the tops, until level 30, so I will definitely go back to leveling. If anyone is on Isphalgen let me know and we can group or rift, Asmodian side, Flog.
I am, currently, a level 24 Cleric in Aion (I also just had my picture in the last one-shot article on here, i am Flog). So far I have enjoyed the class. So far I have enjoyed the class compared to all of the others I have tried.
I like how everyone is dogging on this game. if you do not like it, simply, don't play. as for severely imbalanced server merges? do you play? the merges finally started to happen so, obviously, there will be some imbalance...for now...and we have a whole month until they will be over. as for the server i am on its 51 to 49% so I don't see how they are 'severely' unbalanced. This game will not fail, like Lineage 2, because it is big in Asia still so there will, still, be a game in the U.S. for awhile. You want to talk imbalance then bring up Darkfall or Warhammer, I find those two to be imbalanced more. And while I am at it I don't see why you wish for something, that has people employed, to fail. I don't wish layoffs on anyone in these hard times. I want this, and every MMO, to succeed because competition is good and, like every MMO, there are flaws. I, for one, do still play Aion and I enjoy it. I look forward to seeing the future of it.
Would really like to be able to try this out in Beta. I have been on the fence about it but also my father (who is 58) has been a hardcore Trekkie for life and might actually play with me if I was able to try out the beta.
