Ballmer on iPad: 'they've sold certainly more than I'd like them to have sold'

TiVo Premiere to receive yet another performance and stability update
Jul 9th 2010 6:27PM (Engadget HD)I was alll over the Premier box till my brother got one and I can't stand the "new" menu system. It's horrible. We just want to watch our shows!! Get it?? Record, sort, play. Easy. I don't need a face full of "similar tastes" unless i ASK for it. All that CRAP is impeding the ability to easily find and watch our shows. It's "cool", but too slow and messy.
I'll hang on to my TivoHD till she dies. Love the simple menu, love the simple search, etc...
BTW, FIX all the Tivo extras.. Netflix, Flickr, Yahoo!(tm), and all that is sooooo slllooooowww on the Tivo. Don't even use it. That's what my HTPC and Apple TV (hacked of course) are for. Even the Xbox360 blows Tivo out of the water when it comes to added content.
COME ON TIVO!!!

Police investigating lost iPhone prototype raid Gizmodo editor's home

Apr 26th 2010 6:53PM (Engadget)Then, a guy found it. We don't know, "maybe" he asked around the bar... then, supposedly, yes, I get it, he then called Apple to return the phone. They didn't respond or take it. They gave him a ticket number. As for Gizmodo, this is an easy one, they were paying for a story, they returned the phone... that should be it.
The DA is pressing this NOT Apple. Apple had to do the right thing and routinely file a police report. The DA is an asshole and HE decided to press this issue for national attn., not Apple. No, not an Apple lover myself, but please see where the blame should be placed in tearing this journalist a new one.. the DA.
