I'll assume you meant March of 2010, not 2007, as 2007 has, to my knowledge, already passed.

I'd certainly agree that Natepack is funnier/more entertaining, but I'd imagine it would get irritating more quickly, as well. This one feels less like it's meant to be funny and more like it's meant to recreate (in most cases) the sounds with a human voice.

I'd like to see a mod that uses the sounds from this one and makes all weapon models invisible, so you could totally have a kids playing guns out in the back yard kind of feel, except for all the bleeding and the killing.

Activision is a business, and they've been around for a while. I would assume that they wouldn't have included his likeness if they hadn't obtained the legal right to do so. If Courtney Love actually cared about this and was upset by his inclusion in the game, it would have come up shortly after she was contacted by Activision. The only reason it's coming out now is because she's only ever in the limelight because she's a crazy drug-addled whore and she'd like to win over some of the hardcore Nirvana fans who think they knew the guy.

The only reasonable people in this whole thing have been Grohl and the other guy from Nirvana who faded away shortly after Cobain died. Suggesting that he only be usable on Nirvana songs makes perfect sense, and would probably shut everybody up.

Also, he's dead. Who cares if his likeness is in a game where he's doing what he loved to do (even if he IS playing/singing songs he'd never have touched)? It's not like they put him in an American Idol game as a judge. Or had him working at a record label to manufacture new crap-pop. And, as he is dead, he no longer has an opinion, and thus does not care one way or the other about being in the game. Discussion of "he would have liked this" or "he would have hated this" is stupid and a waste of time. The point is moo.

I think Antonio Ballatore's "I Just F***ed Your House!" might be the best thing I've read on this site in months! I would totally watch that show!

The comments that I'm seeing here for the most part show exactly why Antonio was chosen over Dan. The network wants to expand its audience. By only having soft-spoken normal looking hosts for all of their shows, and voiceovers that make me want to take a nap, they are limiting their viewership to women in the 30-50 year range. By bringing in somebody who, like the first poster said (echoing the statement my wife made last night), is like the Guy Fieri of HGTV, they have a chance to expand that audience a bit, bring in a younger group, and maybe even some guys. I can only imagine the boost Guy gave the Food Network, and I have a feeling it will work similarly, if not quite as well, for HGTV.

Also, his designs were consistently some of the best, and Dan, as good as his design was, was more boring than most of the people already on the network.

The problem isn't that Kanye is an attention whore. We knew that, that is not a surprise. The problem is that a) he took away a moment from a girl who (deserving or not) was supposed to have it, b) Single Ladies is a stupid video which features Beyonce and two friends dancing and NOTHING ELSE, and c) Kanye West is a little bit racist and possibly mentally challenged. Seriously, did you read his apology on his blog? It reads at no better than a fourth grade level. I understand that there have been some serious anti-black racism in the past (ie slavery, segregation, etc) and that some ignorant folk are still just as racist as their grandparents were. Believe it or not, however, that doesn't mean that everything a black person does is better than anything any white person has ever done. Beyonce's video (no offense to the woman herself, as she is very talented) probably isn't the best video made on the day it was made. It's an irritating minimalist piece of s**t. At least Taylor Swift had some actual content/production value.

Sorry for the rant, but I saw the garbage that happened last night and i've been mildly irritated by it all morning, like an itch in the small of the back.

While I am unsure as to the actual presence of irony, I will give you the LOL and the upvote that you so hilariously deserve.

Bourdain's reasons for disliking Lee are exactly the same as mine. Sure, I'm not a master chef, and I probably couldn't cook in many restaurants at all. But I know food, and I enjoy food, and I love food. Sandra Lee takes the *idea* of food and tries to replicate it using prepackaged "foods" that are mostly fake. Her program, therefore, may belong on some kind of Cooking Network, or maybe a Dinner Network, but it has no place on the Food Network.

And, to whoever compared Rachel Ray to Sandra Lee above, as much as Ray might irritate me, I think you're wrong. Her show is not about saving money by cutting as many corners as possible, as Lee's is, but rather about making what may very well be a delicious meal (out of actual food, nonetheless) quickly.
