Rumor: Microsoft's Live support coming to free Windows games; Minesweeper, Solitaire and more

A really crappy collection of some basic games oriented towards kids. Tried it when I got my Vista. Never played again.

This Week on the Nintendo Channel: Ron Carmel sucks goo in WarioWare D.I.Y.

I smiled really big when he drew that goo ball. God, I've got to get back to World of Goo sometime.

Children's choir sings Jonathan Coulton's 'Still Alive'

I'm not saying that nothing is shot; I played the game and completed it, which you may or may not have done. However, I've also played games such as Modern Warfare, Bad Company, Team Fortress, or Half-Life, and I consider those to be shooters, as you shoot guns to kill enemies. Portal is more of a puzzle game, though. The only enemy you kill is (SPOILER!) GlaDOS, but you don't kill her with your gun. True, it's first person, and you shoot portals, but I don't really count that as an FPS.

2 things:

1) The "fps" tag doesn't really fit Portal, since it's not REALLY an FPS.
2) I laughed out loud when they made the Black Mesa reference. Weird hearing kids sing the lyrics to this song.

Like with Epic Mickey, except the graphics will probably look better in this case.

Hasn't Risk been re-invented a dozen times already?

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands screens seem too good to be true

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Especially in Prince of Persia's case.
