Zynga: Xbox Live 'too small a demographic'

Mar 18th 2011 5:14PM (Joystiq)
Then why hasn't Zynga developed something for TVs? Because "effectively 100%" of America has television.

Harmonix brainstorming 'reimaginings' of Rock Band, new motion games

Feb 28th 2011 7:45PM (Joystiq)
On the Wii and PS3, there are singing/gesture games. Yes, the Lips microphone has a gyroscope and it can detect some movement, but I imagine INIS will be announcing a Kinect Lips game at E3. Unfortunately for some, dance games are one of the big motion games across all three platforms. Ubisoft has to have a Just Dance for the 360 in mind as well.

@APV It's not a bunny. It's DeadMau5, pronounced "Dead Mouse"

@Freddie Mercury UA2 had nothing to do with Activision deciding they didn't want to sell the DLC. They lost the license to Marvel. Simple as that. Since Marvel is now owned by Disney, Disney wanted their taste.

I'm not saying creating DLC is easy,but it's got to be a lot easier than making the actual game. Heck, if Harmonix can release the tools for anyone to make DLC, then why not keep a handful of programs on staff, and let them work on DLC. No physical production costs, so if you dump out 1-2 songs a week for DJ Hero, you could turn a few bucks.

Heck, drop the prices now and I'll buy it. And not one week "specials." Make a permanent price drop for a $1-2 dollars per pack.

Grab a Hori Xbox 360 Fight Stick with Tekken 6 for $30 at Best Buy

Got two copies of it, and used the 10% coupon. Gainesviille, VA store has a lot of them in stock for 360. I saw one PS3 version going out as well for $30.

Lips belts out new DLC in February

@squidget The PAL version works fine on my NTSC 360. Someone on the Xbox Forums took a chance with the game and it worked fine, so a bunch of other folks imported, myself included.

Nearly all the DLC is just a release of the tracks from the I Love the 80s disc. It wasn't released in the US or Canada, just in Europe. If the song this month is an 80's track, it's on a disc. What really blows is if you want the additional 250 achievements offered for the 80s disc, you won't get it via DLC, it has to come from the disc. Glad I imported it.

A dubs necklace, to go with my dubs beltbuckle and dubs watch. My wife thinks it's funny.
