I really enjoy my guildmates, and I'm sure this comment is going to get downgraded into oblivion, but can't think of any other way to describe this program other than pointless. If I'm not on WoW then I really can't think of a reason that I need to talk to Guildmates.

My main issue with your ranting is your desperate attempt to sound like a mature and intellectually sound individual when the fact of the matter is that your complaining about not being able to sit in front of your computer and play a video game. Now I will agree to an extent, you would think that Blizzard would have figured out a better means to get this huge patches uploaded at a quicker time but oh well. However when you factor in the number of players per server, the size of both Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdom, the new quests/NPCs/flight paths/Cosmetic Changes/Phasing zone it makes perfect sense that this patch would take so long.

My biggest gripe with your comments however tend to revolve around this smug attitude that seems to be dripping from your words. As if you have this belief that since you think something is right that automatically means it is and anyone who would disagree with you is a blind conformist with no independent thought. I know its a tired statement but if you have a problem with the way Blizzard handles these matters then stop paying them. Its as simple as that, I personally have no problem with a day of downtime when you consider the fact that for the most part you can play this game 24/7 if you chose to. So basically yeah the fact we have to wait to play sucks, but we're all dealing with it. Get off your high horse and stop thinking you have some superior edge on everyone else here cause they have more patience than you do.

I honestly don't get why Blizzard didn't just go the simple route and have the severs down for 24 hours. That way the wouldn't need to keep updating everyone with a guesstimate time on when the game would be back up. Just seems like it would have made things a lot easier for them

Were people seriously freaking out about this? Seems like something that could have waited till Cata came out

That may be the case for most studios trying to develop an MMO but this is Bioware working on a Star Wars MMO. Sounds to me like Hubertz is a little jealous of the inevitable success that TOR will have

The saddest part about all this is that once Cataclysm comes out the game will still make a crapload of money and tons and tons of people who are against this idea now will be making new Goblin and Worgen characters -_-
