they had desktop on there site previously at international launch with smart alarm in some flash presentation then they took it off ...the dock is also on samsung US website for vibrant but shows out of stock.

second the only reason i hate BB i can do exchange mail on my E72 and Galaxy S (Android) by just entering details. and all other ppl in my office need special IT permission to get BB server access to get mails, which takes long list of approvals. another gd thing unified inbox but that does not buy me. Rest all is copied from droid or apple. Not a deal breaker, swype is good enough for qwerty.

u can re - arrange panels on galaxy S, u can even delete just press home key a bit longer, engadget failed...again

@Revolutionary so True why this idiot jobs not take Nokia into consideration, my N-series do not lose signal even in 1st level basement, hold it with any hand and any manner...

@JFH well it had lens cover, they confirmed its N8, i was in Kingfisher flight IT 206.. I even told em ppl on sites like engadget are pretty interested knowing more...one of the guys even said "we gotta be careful" (he had a thick N900 in his hand) i even asked about Meego he said its still work, they even asked if i was a symbian developer to which obviously i said No. He did not reveal me the price at one go, i had to actually ask him 3-4 times then i asked him the range...well upto u to trust, i know its tough to believe cuz he did not let me click a pic.

ok i was in flight in India and i saw 2 nokia guys one, carrying N8 and other n900, it was lime green N8 he did not let me click pic or touch the phone, but AMOLED was good nothing as good as Samsung Galaxy though, i asked him a few questions, it could be prices arnd 25k-30k INR, i.e. 200-250$, launch is somewhere close to august (surely this quarter). IT had lot of social networking apps (the guy was accessing) linked in, facebook etc. The facebook app was similar to as on s60 device. capacitive screen was not working great though not as sensitive as expected, he tapped the number pad like 3 times to open it. Phone seemed pretty smooth. 12 mp cam had a lens cover, and phone in person look really classy with a big screen. when i asked is it gonna be as good as android or gonna kill iOS they both laughed and said, not that good but yeah competitive.
