That bug up your ass - did it crawl up on its own, or was there some kind of manual intervention?

I think you misspelt 'Fugly' in the headline.

This is the sort of abomination that results from trying to merge an MP3 player with a phone.

Wait - there's no phone? Why then the "uglier than an N-Gage without even really trying" keypad layout? Is every other MP3 player input configuration patented by someone else?

How many of those bitching about the lack of a "classic" game mode have actually played the new game? Will play the new game?

If you don't like it, for fuck's sake, you can play the Game Boy version.

If you bought the new version and are totally livid that there's no "classic" mode, here's some super secret tips.

Pressing 'Up' is a quick drop. You can't keep rotating your blocks if you drop them using the quick drop.

If you don't press the shoulder buttons, you don't have to "hold" any pieces.

If you put a strip of duct tape over the upper-right hand corner of your screen (or just don't look), you don't have to see 5 pieces ahead.

Rotating your blocks indefinately does not make them fly to the top of the screen. You still have to plan where you will drop them.

As someone who has played the new version, I think all of the changes are for the best; enhancing the need for strategic gameplay, especially in multiplayer matches.
