I lasted 18 seconds, and damn, that bull was FIERCE. I claim the early lead in this rodeo.

I have no health insurance. I cannot afford my ADD medicine. Can anyone link a torrent?

Thank God the Wii doesn't have a hard drive.

Wiimote vs. Sixaxis, Round 1: Downhill Jam vs. Project 8

Oct 23rd 2006 7:58PM (Joystiq)
The Wii controls look very responsive. When the player runs into walls, it appears to happen when the player wants to get on top of the wall and grind or just after landing too close to the wall to turn out of it. The character/hand motion sync was really good.

I have really no idea what the SIXAXIS motion control was doing. Seriously, I can't tell if it was used for full-on turns or something more subtle. Without that information the issue is moot.

So... Wii is good. Sixaxis is unknown at least from this video.

PS3 may not make year-end 2 million production mark [update 2]

Oct 20th 2006 5:05PM (Joystiq)
[Update: Sony's Kaz Hirai told Gamespot yesterday, "All the [production] issues have been ironed out, now it's just a matter of being able to replicate the process to as many lines as possible -- which is going to help you, obviously, get as many units as possible [emphasis ours]." So what Jack meant was that earlier production issues, which have since been ironed out, may have impeded their abilities to make the initial launch "target."]

Who the hell is taking Kaz Hirai's words as law? This is the man who "confirmed" the 4 million 2006 shipping total a week before they delayed the European launch and cut estimated shipments in half.

As with any Sony announcement, I'll believe it when I see it on the shelves.

If you want to make the case against an Ivy League education, read a post by Vladimir Cole.

I hope he got grandfathered in.

Alternate carrying cases for PSP & DS carts

Sep 29th 2006 6:45PM (Joystiq)
"Some gamers are very, very attached to their plastic DS cases, so much so that they used impolite language encouraging me to -- how do you say it? Ah, yes! -- violently procreate with myself."

It's not your opinions. It's the consistently incendiary way you present them. I don't know how you can write a post about packaging material that inspires anger, but you made it happen. You are like the Rain Man of being a prick.

Dad and son game together -- now that's parenting!

Funny, I have lived in New York for 8 months and I see it ... ALL THE FUCKING TIME!
