I've got a DS lite that still works great, so I don't think I'd need this. It looks great, sure, but the loss of the GBA slot, plus the surprisingly high price kinda turn me off. I paid $150 for an uglier version of the same thing over four years ago! And a year later, I paid $20 less than that for a system that greatly improved on the original. Now, the price has risen by $50, and what's been added is kind of pointless; the browser is too slow to be worth anything, the cameras are as powerful as the one on my phone (which I always have with me anyway), and I really do use that GBA slot quite often (just finished FFTA).

That said, the lower battery life doesn't bother me because I only have about an hour throughout the day to play before I'm back at home, and I charge the system every night. Also, the bigger screens are awesome, and DSiWare could have a few good games on it eventually...

If I do get one, it definitely won't be a replacement for the lite.

isn't section 8 like, half-welfare? here in california, the government uses the money from the taxes we pay to pay a portion of of your rent and utiliies because you can't pay for it because you're a bum who's 36 with eight kids who works at taco bell full-time and you never graduated from high school or, much less, got a degree.

man, you guys are dumb. metroid would make for absolutley aweful multiplayer... it wouldn'd make any sense! what, four samus arans running around? that's just dumb. it sucked in metroid prime 2 and it was even worse in that generic handheld game, metroid prime hunters.

do i want a multiplayer fps on the wii? yes. do i want it to be metroid prime 3? fuck no.

yeah, it sucks that NOA doesn't give out a bunch of freebies like japan and now NOE. i've registered over fifty games, and the prizes i've recieved as a result have been... minimal. granted, it's stupid to buy something in the hope that you'd get some little trinket in return, but when nintendo of japan gets stuff like the game and watch collection, or those custom ds carry cases, i can't help but feel jealous. let's see... i've recieved free from NOA:
