Jul 29th 2008 10:07AM (Engadget)I myself dual booth Vista and OS X and love each one for their own merits. I am quite tired of both sides of the Fanboys critizicing the other OS for reasons that have no basis at all.
The main criticism I am tired of hearing is:
The mac fanboys say: Vista sucks if you use Windows you will inmediatelly get hundreds of viruses. (I specially dislike the I'm a mac adds)
I have used Windows for quite a long time and never had problems with viruses, if you have some comon sense when using the web or use an up to date AV program(there are 3 free ones that are great) you will not get viruses.
The Windows fanboys say: Mac sucks, there are no programs for mac and you will have compatibility issues.
Absolutely not true, there are a lot of Mac software and most of the programs people use are multi platform nowdays, also you can play any video or audio format on Mac just as in windows even windows media video. Also there is mac office that works well with Windows office files.
