Tell Gamestop 'no reserves' with this geek chic shirt
May 1st 2007 8:30AM (Joystiq)Funny thing is, I still pre-order all of the time, from Game Crazy...and I get my game every time! Besides, their used games are ALWAYS cheaper than yours. None of this $5 cheaper BS. And their card is actually worth having. I still have my EB card....and it barely saves me crap

Apr 25th 2007 5:58AM (Joystiq)Well, I was always under the impression it was mulitplatform(Kane &Lynch), as not only did I never hear of being a exclusive from MS(not saying it didn't happen, just never heard it myself), but I never saw it in the exclusives list you see posted on here and other sites when the fanboys start comparing systems and games(PS3&360). Ever since I downloaded the trailer off of the LIVE marketplace, and it not saying "On Xbox 360 Only" anywhere, i took it as it was multiplatform, and not just to PC.
On the announcement made by Eidos about not supporting the PS3 til X-mas, I always thought of it as 2 things....A. They're full of crap, or B. They don't plan on releasing ANY games til around then for either system. And seeing as how Kane & Lynch is now pushed back for all platforms, it more or less confirms my second theory IMO(could be wrong).
Now, Bioshock, though my statment came across as a "never for the PS3", unfortunately I have to withdraw that, becuase you never know. It seems less likely to happen, but as I've gotten back into games, I can see this is still a very fickle business. One that pisses me off to no end. not due to exclusives gained or lost per say, but more due to release dates not being kept and indefinite delays on many games. The excitement for a game can be really over-shadowed by the constant delays it may go through, and it's starting to get to me. In the end, tough I prefer my 360, I say kudos to the PS3 for scoring some more games, becuase that's what it's all about in the end, the games.

Apr 24th 2007 9:44PM (Joystiq)Don't hold your breath. Just becuase Eidos, a publisher who is mostly multi-platform, announce some games that were never touted as exclusive to the 360 for the PS3 today does not mean you will see Bioshock. Have fun dreaming, or play it on PC. Otherwise, you're SOL. :)

Apr 19th 2007 12:30PM (Joystiq)Gamestop ups Xbox 360 trade-in value just in time for Elite
Apr 17th 2007 7:53AM (Joystiq)Not an Xbot. My first console after the N64 was a PS2, which up until I got my 360 I had the most games for. I eventually got an Xbox(which was superior to the PS2, just lacking games a la PS3). And you can try and play off my opinions(which is all they are), but the FACT that most of the games coming to the PS3 are shooters and ports from 360, makes you're statement about 360 games hypocritical. Also, the comment about FF12 and GoW being better than most 360 games is nothing more than you're opinion. Me saying the Ps3 is a $600 doorstop is an opinion. I guess I will label any further posts with a "fact" and "opinion" tag next to each statement.
Oh, and Vista is an option, while Blu-ray is not, so if you want to counter my claim of Sony forcing something on the consumer, you have to do better than that. I'm using Windows XP just fine, and thats only because I don't have the time or know-how to use another operating system on my company laptop.
And I know this is Joystiq.com, but this particular article is about the 360, not an article about this bullshit $630 that the new 360 is going to cost you(where do you people even get these figures?). Don't tell me about the $100 add on for wi-fi either, as there are cheaper peripherals, but beyond that, anybody that has any type of online play knowledge would know that wired is more reliable for online gaming. The only thing that's $600 is the PS3, which minus the 20 gig option, makes it $300 more than the basic 360, or $200 more than the premium. And those are facts(in this last paragraph), not some BS from a troll.

Apr 16th 2007 11:59PM (Joystiq)It's called games, and the PS3 has none, unlike my 360 ,which has many. At least none I'm interested in. And I have a wii, it's great. Glad you like your PS3, but don't fucking troll on a 360 board becuase no one else wants a $600 doorstop (at the moment). There are so many reasons not to support a fuck-up company like Sony, like unwarranted arrogance, forcing your desires on consumers(blu-ray), crapping on your fanbase(they'll buy anything Sony!!), etc. And yes, all corporations are souless machines, but none so blatant about in the games industry as Sony
Australian PS3 launch underwhelming
Mar 22nd 2007 8:57PM (Joystiq)According to reports, there was close to a 1000 people at the 360 launch. Sorry to take the wind out of your argument.
Marketing group gauges interest in MGS4 on 360
Feb 20th 2007 7:03AM (Joystiq)Obviously you're an idiot. If you didn't notice, over half those games you mentioned that "Sony created" Sony had nothing to do with other than they were on the PS2. Last time I checked Capcom and Red Octane (as well as the other studios that made the games you mentioned) are not Sony. Try again.
Analyst: In-stock PS3s are "troubling"
Jan 11th 2007 4:56PM (Joystiq)And? You could play 40+ player in online multiplayer on the original Xbox. It's amazing how you Sony fanboys tout this as a huge "feat" of the PS3 while the Xbox was doing it years ago. If 40 player MP is all that was going to make someone buy a system, they would've bought the original Xbox. Besides, it's up to the developers how many players are available in a game, not the network
