...Uh, this game actually LOOKS fun to play.

Almost all of the impressions I've heard from 1UP and IGN and Wired say that the game IS fun to play, and that it's way above the Survivor series.

It also has pretty damn good graphics, considering that none of that is pre-rendered. Seriously, Joystiq really likes to exaggerate crap just to look "different."

I don't know what's worse: Joystiq claiming that similarity to the original DKR doesn't give them hope, or #1's calling the best kart racer ever made a "bargain bin" game.

Wario Ware and Trauma Center are essentially 2D games, as is Raving Rabbids (to a certain extent). Adding true 16:9 would mean actually changing the game to play differently from the 4:3 version, and would mean drawing assets specifically for both versions.

Well, the prices aren't set in stone in Japan at least; some VC titles there are worth more Points or less Points than the standard for that system.
