Rumor: Zelda Wii to be Majora's Mask sequel

Jan 21st 2010 3:43PM (Joystiq)
My thought on the recent rumor of the new legend of Zelda for the wii
Hello, my username is lazelda007 (I am not going to give my name) I am writing this post to give my personal opinion on the new rumor that has surface on the new legend of Zelda. First I must say that I am one of the few people who on my opinion believe The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is better than ocarina of time (you probably already hate me for this already) a rare opinion but perhaps not as rare as someone might say they like Wind Waker better than ocarina of time (now those people really are fucked in the mind).
Second I must say I am a little disappointed must people who are fan of the series didn’t post this rumor sooner, not to brag or anything but when I first saw the picture that Shigeru Miyamoto showed at E3 2009 the first thing that came into my mind was “that has to be Navi next to link or another fairy” most to my dismay many people first thought that was a Zora (seriously people are you blind). How I came with that conclusion the very first evidence come from the face (that where the answer lies) back on Wind Waker when you get the fire and ice arrows a (wait for it) Queen Fairy walks up to link that has striking similar characteristics from the one that Shigeru Miyamoto showed at E3 2009. This same dub Queen Fairy is also seen in The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (very early in the game I might add) a monster like creature ask the links (more than one) to help her reunite herself with her other half when you do she become the same Queen Fairy from Wind Waker, she then goes on striking lighting to all the enemies around the Castle to open the path.
Finally I will now mention the main point why this new Legend of Zelda is a sequel to Majora’s Mask and why it should be.
• This link is the oldest yet based on the picture and Shigeru Miyamoto word hence one cans assume this link has aged a lot looking for Navi sin Majora’s Mask
• This link does not have the master sword Why because if this is said same link I mentioned before he left the master sword back in Hyrule
• The girl next to him is clearly without a fucking doubt a Fairy
Now here are the point why I believe (and want) this new Legend of Zelda to be a direct sequel from Majora’s Mask)
• This link is the oldest yet and most seasoned (baddest) he is THE HERO OF TIME the link from Ocarina of Time hence the most strongest and experienced. We should expect from this link skill that no other link has ever mastered. (on a side note this link is probably the most pissed yet on his search for Navi he must have grown bitter since he has been alone for quite a lot of time)
• He has the Ocarina of Time (remember people) in Majora’s Mask Link has the Ocarina of Time from Zelda. Hopefully we see some time manipulation mechanics
• A dark more story driven is necessary for this game to work. just like Majora’s Mask this new Legend of Zelda has got to be dark and is this not the kind of like we have been waiting for a more hardcore link. If Nintendo pulls this one of it might even surpass Ocarina of Time Which is clearly Eiji Aonuma goal
In conclusion I hope this turns out to be true and people read this post so they can validate or not, my points of view I can’t wait for this Legend of Zelda but I know better (and everyone out there should too) that this game is not going to come this despite what Nintendo says just like in Twilight Princess they delayed the game several time for quality purpose and they should why not Twilight Princess was well worth the wait.
