I can't remember when I started reading Joystiq. It's been so long ago. It may not have been from the very beginning, but I don't think I'm missing it by much. Joystiq is my first stop for video game news. All other sites pale in comparison. Keep up the good work!

They should have named it Turd Furgeson. Ha! Turd Furgeson. That's a funny name.

Engadget's recession antidote: win a 120GB Samsung S1 Mini HDD!

One thing that would help the economy would be to quit expecting the same fools that got us into this mess to be the ones to get us out. Bailouts give money to companies that have proven themselves to be complete screw-ups. Congress is trying to come up with new policies to make everything better when it was their policies that allowed this to happen. Leave it alone. The market will fix itself in time. A recession is just a way to trim the fat - the economic equivalent of Darwin's survival of the fittest.

Turning to microeconomics, winning that price would help my economic situation. OK, maybe it won't help, but it certainly won't hurt.

I've been reading Engadget regularly for a few years, but I can't say as I have a favorite article in particular. I just love reading about the bleeding-edge technology that researchers concoct on a daily basis. Engadget is a daily reminder of the exciting times we live in. I think about the technological advances that have occurred in my parents' or grandparents' lifetime, and then I think about everything that's come about in my short 26 years here on Earth. Engadget gives me a glimpse at where we might be in the next 10, 20, or 50 years. It's mind-boggling to think about.

Keep up the great work!

I'd probably show it off to my wife first, who would just roll her eyes.
