Huh. After reading the comments here... I might actually have to give LoS another shot... I basically wrote it off after I hated hated hated the demo... I'm a huge fan of the Iga fronted Castlevania games (Yes, Even the PS2 ones), I just kind of wrote it off utterly.
Do you think it's worth a look if I hated the demo?
@MisterDark It's a self published game. There's no big publisher thinking that they can just rake up money afterwards. I don't really understand your line of thinking and where it's going. I've re-read your post a few times and every time it seems like you've gotten the wrong idea about what's going on here.
inXile is making Wasteland 2 without publisher help, Brian Fargo asked in one of his former coworkers Chris Avellone wanted to help out, Obsidian is providing inXile tools to help them make the game. That's the story thus far.
Nowhere in that says that a publisher is tacked on, or is lording over the development process so I don't know where you're getting that. Once released, other people who've never even thought about Kickstarter can buy the game at their leisure and enjoy it. Everybody wins. I win because I got to help fund a project that I'm looking forward too, Someone else wins because they'll get a game that wouldn't have been made without myself and a bunch of others help. inXile reaps the rewards.
@Roto13 I was pretty much going to say this. It's not that I honestly care about his ideas about Japanese games, I honestly feel the same way, and I used to basically only play Japanese games.
It's the dude attitude. His colleague said near the same thing but with a little extra additive called `tact` Fishboy should learn to sprinkle a little bit of it on his words before he spews them out.
I might eventually check out the game, but right now, I'm not super keen to do so.
@FrozenBabylon Furthermore, The Librarian's armor is also always blue, except for the left shoulder pauldron which carriers crest of the Chapter that you choose.
