Anyone else think there are a few comments being made that are too ambiguous for the game to have a planned summer release?

"(costing me some money and possibly XP, says Kummer)" & "We're looking into a couple of thousand"

If the game is coming in just about three months shouldn't they be in crunch mode and not thinking about what they may or may not be putting in the final game? I want to look forward to this game but Deep Silver hasn't made anything standout amazing in my eyes and with all the hype that was around Brink for it to let me down as much as it did I can't see myself investing in a game until it proves itself to other gamers or press...or maybe even both at this point. $60 is too much for me to swallow just to have another lackluster game sit on my shelf in my pile of shame, not being played because I have other better experiences I've yet o invest in.

The way I figure it, it will be after Diablo III, before the next WoW expansion, way before the next Blizzard MMO, and a year before the first Diablo expansion. You do the math.

Worst bug in a game...? I would say most of the control scheme and all of the enemies from the original Xbox game Gunvalykrie. Seriously great agme if it had a present day control setup. It actually played a lot like Vanquish does, and even had that style over substance feel to it. Story was a backseat to gameplay. Too bad the controls were really hard to grasp and it was only on Xbox. It could have been great with just a few tweaks.

Man, Chistmas day 2001...I got an original Xbox, a copy of Fuzion Frenzy, Halo: CE and three extra controllers. My younger brother and I played Halo all day long, and since then we've followed the Halo brand closely and now we're excited to see where Bungie takes us next. Besides, I could use a new pair of hair clippers, my old ones are pretty busted.

I've been very, very nice, I work at a retail store where more stupid people frequent than i would think exist in any other one place. The real kicker that is the reason I've been so nice this year is because I didn't kill anyone this year (not to say anything about previous years;) ).

I like pistol meleeing people so they know that I could kill them with anything in the game. That's just me though.

I don't fully understand how these comments turned into a flame war when the article really has little to do with claims of one system being any better than the other. It was just talking about surprise announcements that Microsoft has in store for us next year. I think it would be best to stay on topic and just talk about the games you want to see released next year or announced at least. I for one want to see a sequel to Conker, I figure an announcement for Gears 3 by the end of the year to keep with the on and off again Halo/Gears synergy they've been running this gen. Alan Wake better be out by this time next year or I will have lost hope for it entirely. A new Knights of the Old Republic and not the MMO would be nice. Mass Effect 2 would be a no brainer for EA, the question remains as to platform statis though. Non game related would be Microsoft releasing a larger hard drive and replacing then arcade's memory unit with a 20gb hdd, putting the 120 on the pro and have the elite live up to the name with a 320gb drive. With only 60gb of space, inclusion of an hdmi cord and color differentiating the pro and elite I see this as at least possible. Especially seeing as the NXE has game installs...it's the most sense for us and Microsoft if they want people to be downloading things from marketplace also. I can't see someone with a 256mb memory unit buying all that many arcade games or even themes. Or they could go all communist on us in a good way and introduce a new feature to use any hard drive in the next dashboard update....only time will tell. Seriously though guys try and stay on topic.
