As cool as T13 is looking across most if not all classes, the really awesome thing I found about T12 was that not only was the armor fiery themed, but so were the set bonuses.
X% increase damage is not thematic to a time-whimey, world-saving, Deathwing-killing, Aspects-laying-down-the-law tier. Give us something like a wisp or a Emerald Dream druid helper, or a little pool of Emerald Dream stuff our friends can stand in for a buff, or maybe Ysera comes in for a few secs and tears thing up. That'd be balanced.
I see Thrall pulling a Sisko soon. He'll try to do both - have a family and fulfill some greater destiny - but it'll end poorly in one way or another. Thrall is one of the few uncorrupted nice guy heroes in WoW, and we can't have him stay that way.
For the commenters wondering why there are only four, it's an allusion to ancient perceptions of what an "element" is.
They didn't determine that we're all made up of hydrogen and oxygen and carbon and such. They did basic "scientific method" experiments and determined that everything was made up of earth, fire, air, and water. Wood, for example, came from trees which grew from the earth, so it contains earth; it burned, so it contains fire; smoke is released when it burns, so it contains air; and it floats, so it's a witch! ... I mean, it contains water.
Not exactly rigorous, but considering the time, not a horrible deduction.
Yeah this is just more sloppy blogging on what others blogs said.
The 13" MBP at 2.7 GHz will outperform the 2.2 GHz even if the lower speed model is fully clocked up to its max dual core speed of 2.6 GHz and the 2.7 GHz has Turbo Boost disabled (numbers from the Anandtech article cited). Even so, this is only considering the 13" model. The "top-end" MBP is the 2.3 GHz quad core 15"/17" model, which with discrete graphics, is the apparent source of the overheating and crashing problems (previously on TUAW it was reported that going to integrated graphics only on these models eliminated the crashing issue). The 13" models only get integrated Intel graphics, and overheating in these would indicate that Apple is not properly cooling the CPU, not the GPU (Sandy Bridge integrated graphics is on-die with the CPU). Then, of course, if as throated the crashing happens under heavy graphics load, this would be odd.
But as you said, Boot Camp has had thermal issues for years. If this is true, and Apple is disabling Turbo Boost on the high-end 13" then I'd expect this to be Apple's only "fix" for it. but it would be rather ineffective, since as you also note, Turbo Boost isn't only about increasing clock speed, but also powering down cores not in use to lower the thermal profile. There must be more to why Turbo Boost is apparently disabled under Windows.
Stock splits are pure psychology, and do very little of real value, especially when most shares are held by institutions. No competent investor (and institutions are certainly in this category, as are the managers of their portfolios) cares how many shares he / she has unless he / she is Carl Ichan or the like. What matters is the total value of the position, and the ROI, not the absolute change in price.
If anything, a stock split would encourage the kind of instability that comes with thousands of smaller investors looking to blogs and financial TV for advice on when to buy / sell.
We just recently "found" Garona... I'm sure Medan is planned for something, and if the stuff before Cataclysm came out about the Council of Tirisfal are going in game at any point, he'll be around that.
My favorite theory / justification is that the Rustberg Village citizens are suspicious of everyone because their fish keeps going missing in multiples of 22. But then they get too suspicious, start harassing travelers picking the inordinate amounts of Cinderbloom all over the Peninsula, and we have to crack down and take out a few of them. While we're at it we notice, "hey, look, free fish!"
