I agree, where the hell is the PSN/XBL support? I don't play games an awful lot on my laptop (not to mention it's Windows 7) but I'd buy the game in an instant if it appeared on the PlayStation Store.
Since the Playstation? Long before that, kid. Remember that Doom was the game that pretty much invented classifications of games, alongside stuff like Mortal Kombat. Not to mention the "under-the-counter" games for the likes of the Atari that were obviously aimed at the "mature" audiences (I say mature, most of them were comical in nature). Stuff like Custer's Revenge and other adult titles.
