@R Planteer I gotta say, as far as design goes, metro UI looks awesome, maybe a bit too extra rainbow-y on windows 8 stuff, but the simplicy and block colours looks awesome.
I did yesterday that as I'm from UK, however after it got cancelled and refunded this morning. I added it to steam so ill see if I have basically got a free game out of it at work....
@IVER23 to be honest if you pick up a largely popular phone like the EVO then xda should have it sorted for you. I have a desire which sold here (UK) before the N1, and the community is barely a few days behind on the new stuff they really are amazing guys!
Cyanogenmod6 (2.2) is apparently coming to a bunch of new devices so the EVO may be one of them...check it out!
@Itami In the first video I also noticed this. If thats actually how its going to be, thats going to be very un-natural to use - let alone the thing is square :/
@danexpo I see the comparison between 1.6 but that kind of says it all. Theres a couple of things that make it look a bit fiddly and need refining.
I was utterly disappointed with BB Storm before, I will however hold my judgement until this is officially released. On a side note those super glassy icons need a duller background to really stand out.
I dont hate RIM, but considering they built the base for a smartphone market they seem to have made a ton of lame decisions since others started stepping into smartphones.
They have such a massive opportunity to make themselves huge contenders for the consumer market, but they insist on sticking with the business side of things and it holds them back. I truly hope that OS6 is amazing and the hardware is too; there were things I liked about BB, but oh so many I hated :(
wire it in, install wireless drivers, restart, done.
dell broadcom drivers have worked well for the past 2 releases, granted their ability to show signal strength uses either 0, 25,50,75,100 which is a cop out, but the drivers work fine. Im using a broadcom Mini N card in my vostro 1510!
