Big Square Enix Xbox Marketplace sale includes Deus Ex, Lara Croft
Feb 8th 2012 11:33AM (Joystiq)Keep in mind, any Xbox Live Rewards members get 5% back from purchases this month... not much... works out to be about 20 MSP for every 400 you spend - but it's something.
Vita 'UMD Passport' won't be offered in US
Feb 7th 2012 9:58PM (Joystiq)You need help buddy. Defending a system that's not even out yet. A system that's part of a lineage of crap systems - the PSP sucked, at least compared to the competition.
What experiences do you get on Vita? PS3 experiences. Almost every game that's been announced for Vita would be better played on a couch on the big screen (PS3). The 3DS takes a proper approach to handheld gaming - bite size experiences that consume small amounts of time.
Sony made a mistake with PSP - this is why some of the PSP's greatest games eventually made their way to PS3. Now, they're releasing an "improved" PSP (with ZERO backward compatibility) and charging $250.00 (plus the ridiculous price of memory cards, etc).
I don't buy what Sony is selling with this Vita, nothing has been shown or announced that would justify a purchase. The 3DS has already proven itself. 3DS hasn't been as successful as it should have been, or could have been, but it was still successful - and if anyone thinks for one moment that lifetime sales of the Vita will EVER be better than 3DS - then they're only kidding themselves.
On another note - don't be a baby about insults when it was you who issued the first insults. Insults aside - I've issued my thoughts - now what's yours?

Feb 7th 2012 6:06PM (Joystiq)Calm down, pumpkin, you're far too emotional to be talking trash to fellow gamers.
Besides, I seen you're post about Notch and how you think he's some gaming god or something silly like that - if you think that, then it's pretty clear you lack any sort of gaming knowledge or prowess - so back off.
If you're happy with your Vita, then awesome, all the power to you.

Feb 7th 2012 5:39PM (Joystiq)LOL, sony fanboys - always the same tiresome comments. Never any logical rebuttals, only cry baby pouting.
Enjoy your $250.00 paperweight.
MW3's next DLC drops from a skyscraper onto Xbox Elite members on Feb. 21
Feb 7th 2012 3:33PM (Joystiq)I'm trying to figure out where that is a bad thing... Highrise was an awesome map, and if this is similar, then I'm all for it (not that I have a choice, since I'm already an Elite member, LOL)
Ashame our PS3 brethren are being so screwed over. Sony sure didn't put much effort in ensuring it's consumers didn't feel mistreated. Hope Sony fans remember this before they purchase that Vita toy. :)

Feb 7th 2012 3:26PM (Joystiq)Considering Sony's track record with the PSP, I'm not sure why anyone would want to invest their money in this new Vita...
Apple removes dozens of clone games from App Store
Feb 6th 2012 8:51PM (Joystiq)While the game design has been in games before, the same can be said about almost every game. Look at FPS games, each one is technically a "copy cat", but most of the good one's try and bring something new and fresh to the table. This is what Angry Birds did - it brought something new and fresh to the table to a new audience of gamers. So, while you're not 100% wrong... it's not as big of an issue as the countless other copy cats that bring nothing new to the table, which is a huge plague on the Apple platform.

Feb 6th 2012 8:46PM (Joystiq)LOL, I just posted a similar comment before reading yours. You have good taste! :)

Feb 6th 2012 8:44PM (Joystiq)I'm happy to see Apple putting the foot down on these copy cat clones!
Don't call it a remake: Final Fantasy X is a 'remaster,' to be clear
Feb 6th 2012 12:09PM (Joystiq)I think I would be willing to pick up this re-release just to give it another go. Of course, that's if the price is right - and anything more than $10 would be the "wrong price". I also hope they add some trophy support to it, just for a bit of added incentive.
