Dec 31st 2008 12:14PM (Engadget)Ah, the same typical iPod owner rationalization. I want to OWN my music; yeah. that's why I bought an iPod.
Who cares if I own the song or rent it? It is all about access to music and portability. I'm able to listen to, on average, 40-50 new songs on my Zune each month, plus get 10 non-DRM'd songs each month, for $15. I can't afford to do this on an iPod. I have discovered so many new artists that I would have never have heard if I went the iPod/iTunes route. Yes, there is last.fm and pandora.com, but you can't take those songs with you. Let me know when iTunes adds a subscription service, then I'll consider the iPod as a legitimate music player.

Dec 30th 2008 5:38PM (Joystiq)No, anyone can play the community games on their Xbox 360s. You don't have to pay $99. Only developers who want to run their apps and games on a 360 have to join the Creator's Club.
