Disneyland Adventures preview: Virtual Imagineering

Jun 14th 2011 2:38PM (Joystiq)
It reminded me of the Disney Adventures in the Magic Kingdom for the NES. I miss that game, but some how I don't think it will ever live up to my memories of it so I won't pursue playing it again.

Nintendo stock loses another five percent

Jun 9th 2011 2:59PM (Joystiq)
Is the stock going down because they don't like the system or are they going down because launching a new console will mean losses for the year from r&d costs, production, manufacturing and game development of multiple titles which will surely be more expensive than a typical wii game.

Its not launching until after this fiscal year so they may take a huge financial loss this year because of the costs associated with launching a new console.

Also people are assuming that it is going to be expensive, possibly even priced below cost which would mean a finacial hit for every console sold similar to what the ps3 and 360 experienced.

Music Unlimited platform coming to PSP, NGP and Xperia Play

Apr 1st 2011 5:31PM (Joystiq)
@Chris DPSN AggieCEO XBLThe Aggi I am about halfway into the trial and I won't be continuing with it. I unfortunately don't own a nice surround sound or stereo (currently using tv speakers) but while there is some good music available on the service, if you just want to choose a genre and have it on during a party or cleaning the house its definitely not the service for you. I found that I would put it on a genre and after a while it would move to another genre all together, like i had it on pop 100 and after a while it just starts playing all country, It's supposed to learn your tastes based on liking or disliking songs but I am not sitting in front of the tv with controller in hand watching whats on or whats coming on next. I prefer Pandora's ability to build playlists based on an artist or song much better i just wish it was available on my ps3 or xbox (i know you can use the web browser but it never seems to load correctly for me) . If you want to spend time building specific playlists its decent but not worth the 9.99 a month.

Madden 12 cover athlete vote expanded to 32-team bracket

Mar 21st 2011 2:07PM (Joystiq)
@AgentJ I think everyone should vote the 12th man. If there's no season the fans already received the madden curse, we should at least get a cover for our troubles.
