Rumor: New SSX developed by Skate team members
Dec 8th 2010 12:45PM (Joystiq)1. Characters will look like adults, not big headed children
2. City based levels will be included (like Tricky and SSX 3)
3. Favorite characters will be included
4. Any control scheme allows for a deep amount of tricks
5. Tricks can be held till the last second
6. Lots of shortcuts and alt. paths
7. Huge jumps and falls (5 to 10 second air time)
8. Large amount of unlockables (clothing, boards, tricks)
9. Track editor (I know, this is unreasonable but would still be cool)
Other than this, the team is free to do what they want :) Hopefully, the franchise is in good hands.
EA done with Boogie franchise for now, SSX revived if market is 'ready'
Sep 18th 2009 3:01PM (Joystiq)Oh how I miss riding a pipe perfectly and jumping at the exact right moment to find an entirely new trial. How I miss the 10 or 20 second jumps where you could pull of trick after trick. Please, please bring it back!

May 7th 2008 4:10PM (Joystiq)Second, this automatically checking in thing is not going to stop the pirates. Everyone but the game companies can see that. It only makes people actually wanting to buy the game angry. Do you think the pirates are really upset about this feature? It's just a new and most likely easily concurred challenge.
I don't have a problem with a game checking in once in a while really. But a legitimate user should not be punished if the game can not check in and a legitimate user should not be penalized for upgrading their computer regularly (needing a new install).
What's next, will we need to send them a picture of us (with our face clearly visible) holding the box and DVD every quarter? Crap, I may have just given them an idea.
Look, there is no way to stop piracy. What you (the game companies) should be doing is making the best game possible so people want to pay you for it. You would be surprised where that can get you.
