Joystiq checks out prototype XPS desktop

The pictures on the link that 5. posted look really cool-- neat little doors, etc. Could be a really cool little (or big?) box.

Nintendo Wiimote design changes

I can't imagine them NOT bundling at least 2 remotes with the console. Their whole strategy is about getting other people involved, and playing games together. It would be really nice to see them do that.

I agree with above-- I'd love to see how many of you change what you are saying after you see profession studio shots of it with a nice spec sheet.

wow you guys haven't even seen a finished product yet, and you know nothing about it. You put ANY product in a dingy poorly lit back room, and it will look like crap. Didn't your mothers ever tell you to keep your mouth shut if you didn't have anything nice to say?

Snap&Send digital postcard

I think it's funny that engadget readers are slamming 'disposable culture' I mean, I agree it sucks-- and I'm an engadget reader!

Think about how many products you see on engadget that will be trashed in more than 3 years from the time people buy them. I'd like to see some more long term, sustainable designs... like a cell phone designed to last a lifetime, having it repaired and upgraded rather than trashing it for a new model. Big changes though.. someone's got to be willing to make that lifestyle change.

Regardless, it's an interesting concept, probably could have been put to use in some better way.. but oh well.

Imation's 256MB Flash Wristband

Yeah it might be 'lame' to most engadget readers.. but think about who this would be good for- Kids! I know I always needed a few 3.5" discs throughout grade school- it would have been nice to have one of these clipped on my backpack, maybe parent's could even load on some info in case the kid got lost or something.
