Actually, "El rei de la casa" is correct. But in Catalan, not Spanish. It means the same thing though. "La reina de la casa" means "the queen of the house" in both languages. However, from the Flickr set, "Presa de la red" is actually written in Spanish ("Prey of the net"), and all the sketches are also done in Spanish, so I'm guessing that "rei" is actually a typo, although a very weird one.
And Mauro Entrialgo is an awesome artist. His comic strips in El Jueves were great.
Yes, that's Porta Ferrisa street (between the Ramblas and Portal del Àngel), and that store is an H&M. They've had that decoration for quite some time now...
In case you're wondering, the movie plot is about a guy (black spiky hair) who works on a supermarket. Someday the security guard asks him to take care of his albino snake, but after he sets up a party he manages to kill it, so he has to get money to buy another one, and he decides to join a DDR tournament for that. He asks a former disco star and pseudo-martial arts experts for help, and bla bla bla...
The guy who looks like Billy Crystal is called Santiago Segura, and is a popular actor around here. He is also the producer of some of the most top grossing Spanish movies (the Torrente saga), at least in Spain. His humour is very particular, since he parodies the Spanish equivalent of hicks or rednecks; so I'm guessing that for someone without any background knowledge on Spanish culture, his movies must suck.
Also, Santiago Segura is somewhat of a geek, so he was bound to make a movie like this sooner or later. It's a cheap comedy directed towards DDR freaks and geeks at general so they get to laugh at themselves (a pretty healthy behaviour, you should try it sometime). However, I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know wether it succeeds at that or not.
On a side not, Santiago Segura is a close friend to Guillermo Del Toro, and he briefly appears on Blade 2 (he's the fat guy at the beginning, who gets killed in the strip booth at the end).
