I just reinstalled this the other day from the original discs. Why am I still re-buying this then? Because GoG rocks and I love supporting them. Plus DRM-free access to the game -- I don't think it can be said enough how awesome that is as GoG's biggest strength.

Reggie's face in that photo makes me think this was a pic cropped out of context... but maybe that's just me looking for humor where there isn't any.

I was there on day one.

I bought Half-Life 2 (on 5 CDs!) from Best Buy, came home to install it, and... well, got hung up on this thing called Steam that had problems letting me create an account, slowed my computer down, and seemed like a pain in the butt since it required an internet connection to do anything cool.

I didn't buy a single game on it until 2007, but I now love it. Good work, Valve.

This game worries me enough that I'll be changing my personal review system from a 5-point star scale to a facepalm system... the less red my forehead is after playing it, the better the score.

I bought Borderlands for about $5 or so when it was on sale during the last big Steam sale, so this adds more icing to that already sweet, sweet cake.

I've always been on the Nintendo side of the Mario / Sonic wars in the 90's, but I've always secretly been a silent supporter of the blue blur in my heart as well.
