@bm111 First off I don't think the name calling is necessary just because you got down-voted unless you like having lots of hearts on the server for the sake of pride among internet commenter.
Second each person have their own way of having fun. Your statement seems like it's claiming that you know a universal fun that applies to everyone. Such a thing is too subjective, imo, to be written like that.
I can say from my experience with FFXI that MMO isn't just repetitive task, there's a huge social aspect to it. It's just like hanging out with friends, except I can casually game with them. People actually create friendships and memories from these games.
All in all if someone is actually happy playing MMO or any other genre I'm not sure there should be a reason I shouldn't be happy for them as well.
@N900 Exactly I'm not sure what everyone is crying over or even why the article implies that Nexus One is at its end. I thought they were going to stop online-retail only and go into phone store-retail... unless I missed them trashing that somewhere.
@stoney1973 Actually I'm interested in reading this bug fix. It would be quite contradicting if it was for the algorithm of how the signal bar was displayed. Do you have a link on where I can find out more?
@Chris Bell I believe he did mention that "Now we're not perfect. We made it very visible with a little help from our friends on websites. We put this little line here... 'here's where you touch it everybody!'" as in their attenuation is easy to trigger. He stills believe it's the best phone they've made. I don't know if they will change it, but according to what they're presenting probably not this gen yet.
So here's the point. They're giving away case for those who's having issue with the problem. If that doesn't work return it for full refund without restocking fee.
Should their phone be flawless and no drop signal w/ a death grip? I want it to be, but they're not going to change it. So now it's a matter of do you want a phone like that? If not it's time to move on and get another phone.
The only real way to test and see if this is a "signal" problem as their fix seems to imply is to have a 3g/s and 4 (after the update) in the same place and test out calls with the death grip & bars, etc. Hopefully we'll get some of these data soon.
I wanna get this game, but I don't know if I should try to get more done in the first one. I only beat the story in normal and gotten like 30-40% of the trophy. Don't wanna get this and never touch the first one again >.
