The deal in the uk is better then the us you know? The us pack includes SC but costs $100. The uk pack does not have SC but is only £45, so to compare £45 + £25 (cost of SC in the uk) = £70, and that at the exchange rate is about $94.
@tosvus It might just be a licensing headache to work with all the different US networks companies then. All free national transmission are ran by a single service called Freeview in the UK. All paid for TV has to use different systems like satellite or cable. Simpler I guess.
It's more likely coming out because DVB-T2 is coming out in the UK this year to replace DVB-T1. This is going to be the free HD standard for TV here in the UK. The hardware is not compatible between the two formats so they need a new box basically. I thought PlayTV was not out state side because the US didn't have a widely used free digital service? We get around 40 free digital channels in the UK.
Wow, I didn't even know Android couldn't be update! That's surely a massive, massive selling point for getting an iPhone then. Free OS updates for years, vs a never changing Android phone? I hate being forgotten as a customer, so Android blows.
Well, in the uk the networks have been doing 3g video call for over 7 years, they cost the same as voice calls and can come out of your included minutes, just like mms with sms. Why is the US always so far behind?
