We have at least 5 years to go in this generation.
When you are swapping through 6 discs on Mass Effect 3 do you think it will interrupt the experience?
When a game that would have been free roaming is structured so that you can't return to previous areas because of the disc does that matter?
When image resolution doesn't improve because of the need to compress the holy hell out of data doesn't it matter?

No question that Peter Moores minions are behind this.
The creator of the video never answers the question of why the PS2 is outselling the Xbox 360 month after month, the PSP is outselling it as well and I believe the PS3 has outsold it some months.

If Sony's brand is dead then the Xbox 360 is putrid and petrified.

"Recent PS2 titles will work. Older PS2 titles will be added through software updates in a matter of months."

The press release mentioned noting about "Recent" and "Older" what is the source for this?

The best thing that Microsoft has done this generation is organize a troll army to sway Inet opinion against the PS3.
Fortunately for Sony, the mass market won't give a damn and the x-lamers will wake up when Halo has less levels cause it is on Dvd9.

It can'y be 1080p 'cause Microsoft says that that is impossible.

It gets even better:
The version of Halo 3 for the new version will have 5 extra multiplayer maps 'cause they could fit them on to the HD-DVD drive....
Those of you with the "legacy" system can download of course... for a cost.
