Damn you for making "drawing girls in thongs" a hyperlink to a page with NO PICTURES!!

A good roundtable on one of the most muddled characters in comics. :)

Dear video game media,

Please stop reporting on games that will never be made by a company that doesn't exist. All evidence suggests that Nibris is nothing more than a Polish kid living in his mom's basement writing press releases.

In the event that our reality converges with another reality in which Nibris is a legitimate company and they actually DO produce a real video game, this moratorium will be lifted and you are free to report on them.

In the meantime, however, your time would be better spent reporting on games that exist or are likely to exist in the future in this reality.

Having just played Eyetoy Antigrav for the first time a couple weeks ago, I have to say "been there, done that, although if I had been using a Wiimote instead of an Eyetoy it probably wouldn't have kept mistaking my wife's face for my hand".

@5: Usually, anime is as popular in Japan as cartoons are in the US; i.e. not un-popular, but also not a fad, and generally considered "kiddie". Due to Densha Otoko and other things, otaku culture is currently a fad in Japan, along with all of its trappings like anime. Thus, right now, anime is more popular in Japan than it usually is.

For the express purpose of being a dick, I will sum up this article in three sentences:

In the 80s, Rambo was popular in Japan.

In the late 90s and early 2000s, goth fashion was popular in Japan.

Now, anime is popular in Japan.

check it out, and let me know if I've missed any.

Mission: Marketplace -- this game progresses the demand for downloadable content and episodic games to its climax. Mission: Marketplace's innovation is that it requires players to purchase all the content separately -- alternatively you can just plunk down $200 and watch the credits roll. We can't wait for this one.

Lore SEVERELY misspelled this one, but at least he got the colon in the right place; this game's actually called Magic: The Gathering. :)X
