Ah, Steam, how I love you. I just bought The Witcher 2 for $40 and Cities XL 2011 for $10. So, I basically bought a game I really wanted for normal price and got a game that I'm really intrigued by for free!
@Haldurson I agree with the whole alignment thing. Most people in life, based on D&D alignments, are Lawful Good, Lawful Neutral, or Neutral. Then, from there as you go down the alignments there are less and less people who fit them: Neutral (coma patients and Sherpas), Neutral Evil (really mean hobos and rapists), Lawful Evil (politicians and CEOs), and Chaotic Evil (OJ and that lady who killed her daughter). I wish more games reflected this.
@(Unverified) For once, I would love to play an RPG as a dragon. Like a DnD-style dragon. Dragons can polymorph into a humanoid, but towns either fight them away or worship them. I really think that could be an interesting dynamic. The elves in this town hate you, the humans in that town want your help, the humans in this other town hunt you, and the dwarves in this town want you to sleep with their women in order to make half-dragon warriors.
It would be a really fun dynamic, there would be a very good reason for people to hate you, want your help, and/or listen to what you have to say. You'd also have an obvious motivation for wanting to help or kill anyone, to build your horde. Plus, who wouldn't love being able to customize his/her/hir humanoid and dragon forms. You could pick your scale type, color, shape, age, size, etc. It would be fun.
However, that probably won't happen, and will always have the tired old dragon stereotypes. Hmpf.
Are Kindles any good. I'm really trying to get back into reading, but books are just so annoying to hold compared to my iPhone; however, I find the size of the screen on my iPhone to be sub-optimal for reading books.
Wow... Haha it is nice to see them making fun of their game. Hopefully the sequel is better. As a side note, the after the video ads are rather annoying.
@johnvillar I hate to break it to you, but one person's disability can't be allowed to hold back everything else. We have books and television despite blind people, and music and radio despite deaf people. We have stereoscopic 3D despite one-eyed people. It's just how life works.
