The Wii Guitar Hero controller: First image!

Joe - the guitar will no doubt connect to the remote via the port on the bottom (the same one the nunchuck and classic controller use).

Joystiq hands-on: Xbox 360 Elite

I'm thinking of getting one of these. I hope mines not as blurry.

Elite Beat Agents track list

Blargh. I was going to preorder this game, but now I think I can wait for the price drop. I have too much gaming to do right now anyway (FFXII, FFIII, Guitar Hero 2, etc).

And that Ashlee level better be freaking EASY. I'm not sitting through that crap more than once in a row.

What's your DS top 5?

Jul 26th 2006 9:16AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
My top five:

1. Advance Wars: DS
2. New Super Mario Brothers
3. Brain Age (love dat sudoku)
4. Animal Crossing: Wild World
5. Metroid Prime: Hunters

And since I'm bored waiting for a call, I tallied up the favorites that everyone has posted so far. I gave five points for number ones, four for number twos, and so on. The overall DS Fanboy results thus far:

1. New Super Mario Brothers (96 points)
2. Mario Kart: DS (63)
3. Advance Wars: DS (45)
4. Animal Crossing: Wild World (37)
5. Ouenden (27)

Runners up:

6. Castlevania (26)
7. Meteos (24)
8. Phoenix Wright (24)
9. Trauma Center (21)
10. Kirby (19)

Nintendo's top 10 games of 2006 (so far)

Jul 14th 2006 12:03PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
My top whatever. All DS for me:

1. Advance Wars DS (can't play a game for over 50 hours and not put it at the top of the list)
2. New Super Mario Brothers
3. Brain Age (especially for the Sudoku)
4. Big Brain Academy (great for friends to play)
5. Metroid Prime Hunters
6. Tetris DS (great wi-fi multi)
7. Magnetica (good time killer - fun local multi)

hoverX (#6) - Nope, Brain Age 2 is an actual sequel to Brain Age from what I've read. Big Brain Academy is separate in both markets.

Here's hoping we get more Brain Age on this side of the ocean. :D

@ AJ (#40) - I'd like to try Wario Ware Touched, but I'm not paying $35 for a gimicky launch title. When are they going to drop the price on that sucker? >_

I love anything about the PSP and the iPod. I'll pick this one:

StrategyWiki out to crush GameFAQS

Jan 6th 2006 3:05PM (Joystiq)
It's a good idea - but it's suffering from a lack of planning, at least initially. There isn't any way to view games by genre, title, etc - and they're not sure how they're going to implement it yet either.

Also, MediaWiki is great, but pretty resource intensive AFAIK. If they think this is going to be as big as GameFAQs, I hope they have a beefy server handy.

Joyswag: win a copy of Shadow of the Colossus

Best boss ever was definitely Sin from FFX. That video where you get your first real look at him was just awesome.
