Having played the game for about 2 weeks now, you either go nun-chuck-wiimote or the wheel. Gamecube controller works but having to use the D-pad to control weelies is annoying. also the shoulder buttons have to be pressed all the way down which is kinda eh.

Me I love the wii-wheel, I've got about an 8k online rating and I've unlocked all the expert time trail ghosts with it and I'd like to think I'm pretty descent with it. Would I be better with the nun-chuck/wiimote combo? Maybe. I have more fun using the Wheel.

I've had this game for about a week now, I was very very skeptical of this MK seeing how much it looked like Double Dash(which I hated) but I must say it's probably now my favorite MK to date. 12 player online racing with NO lag is way too much fun. It's got the best online component Nintendo has done so far, it's almost perfect.(still can't add random people you race against) but you can join your friends, have split screen online madness etc. The only thing that sucks is the new battlemode, everything else is better than the previous Mariokarts.

Ah, I love the smell of assrape in the morning.
