On a related note, this whole business sucks. I hope people will be able to get their data imported/transferred. I'd be pretty put off if I was waiting for the game to come out, only to learn a few days before that my previous work wasn't usable. It's like when a save file gets corrupted and you just have no will to play the game anymore. Pretty sure I'd be feeling that if this happened to me.

Yeah, not all teenagers act this way. I already agree to that in an earlier comment. The thing is, though, there's a hell of a lot of them in the gaming community that do. How in the hell can you play games online and not be able to just shrug off stupid jackassery?

I'm not saying jackassery should just be accepted and is all fine and dandy, but you should at least be able to handle it if you're going to be playing games online - especially something like CoD. How many thousands upon thousands of complaints are there about the annoying kids playing CoD?

And all of that is beside the point, the point is that a grown man shouldn't be so pathetic that he needs to strangle a kid for talking trash to him about a game.

Yeah, not all teenagers are that way. A lot of them do though - especially in the gaming crowd. The issue here shouldn't be that there's another dumbass teenager playing games online being a dumbass. The issue here should be that a 46 year old man, a man that should have enough sense and patience at this point in life, tried to kill a kid over trash talk.

I'm sure the kid will probably act differently now, almost being killed shouldn't be the way that that's learned though.

Yeah, that kid deserves to almost get killed because he's being a kid. Teenagers have always been and always will be, arrogant bastards with too much to say. That's not going to change. If you can't handle something as petty as that, don't play games with them.

I honestly believe most of the people commenting have no idea why this wrong. The guy didn't stop choking the kid, he was stopped. This could have easily been a story about a grown man killing some kid over something so stupidly small and petty as trash talk. Is that really something you think people should joke about?

Hey, next, let's make fun of attempted terrorist attacks and the like. There'd be nothing wrong with that, right? It sure is funny when someone tries to plant bombs in extremely populated areas, huh? And you know what, it sure was funny that that last plane didn't get to crash into a building, huh? Man, so funny.

Just because the kid wasn't killed it doesn't make this kind of article or the comments herein funny. It doesn't make it acceptable. It just makes every one of the people joking about it sick.
