Average Chinese income in 2008 was approximately $6600 U.S. (https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ch.html) so a cheap knockoff phone in China is extremely popular since a lot more people can actually afford. Paying rent & food costs is a lot more important to the Chinese consumer then tech & software support.

I'm suddenly like one of those senior citizens who doesn't know how to use a mouse and doesn't know where the on/off switch for their cellphone is. Are these Google directions or something? Is this better then a 486 DX/66?

Merchants who are looking for this as a solution don't care about having the latest IPhone and I'm sure that Apple will be selling the 3GS for sometime to come. By the time that the 3GS goes out of production, Verifone will just update their own form factor...we are not talking about a small company here people.

If you are swiping every transaction then 2.75% is a HORRID rate. Plus, Verifone is one of the top point-of-sale manufacturers in the world...granted, I hate their equipment but at least I know they will be around for awhile (unlike Square). I've worked in the merchant processing industry for awhile and I can tell you that there is a lot more beta testing behind Verifone's offer then people realize.

As long as a plane's engine doesn't come out and destroy the store then it is all good.

Forgive me if other cards have featured this but am I the only person who is amazed that this card has header pipes? Is there a muffler that is hidden somewhere?
