My wife turned me on to WoW. I was playing other games such as EQ2 and CoH. There seems to be an idea that girls who play WoW are brought in by their boyfriends, and that just isn't true. I do have a guildmate who seems to pursue the dating thing on WoW, and oddly enough, seems to have better chances with females on WoW than the dating sites. Now if only the age proportion was right...

Mists of Panda Express? The boat leading to Pandaria is called the Wanchai Ferry? Cooking trainer there is P.F. Chang? Do they brew Tsingtao? I don't care as long as the first quest is called Enter the Dragon and the last one is The Last Dragon.

Humans (especially males) would still look damn ugly.

I've encountered groups that are both GO GO GO and "Stupid tank don't pull til everyones ready." That's when I drop. In the middle of a boss fight.

As a hunter, I hate when I run to the tank after disengaging and feigning death, because some odd add is still loving me from some random AoE I did, and the tank does absolutely nothing about it. But, that's what freezing trap is for...

My guild is made up of about half women. The guild leaders are women (and me). My wife is the main tank. Our healers are mostly men (me included). So, if the cliches are true, we're the antithesis of the stereotype. We do run into people perpetrating the stereotype when we pug and whatnot. Nobody ever believes that my wife is a woman (I guess because women don't play WoW) and once even got into a capitalization match (I mean, you can't really shout) about it. Now, I will say that the ladies don't normally participate in PvP unless it's Tol Barad and we are on a PvE server (Zangarmarsh).
