Sure they will compete with mediaphones and portable consoles alike, but their product will have a major selling point for mobile gamers.

They aren't limited by hardware boundaries, they are limited by Microsoft policies.

I'm sure the MGS movie was part of some deal to keep mgs4 exclusive, unlike many of you may think Sony isn't as stupid as they look. They know the big part Mgs has in ps3 success.

And as for the ever MGS x Halo discussion, MGS, FF and Resident Evil after going to the ps helped change the landscape of gaming, several elements of 3d games were invented in MGS. Halo changed the FPS scene in consoles, you just can't compare the two franchises.
