How to Cope with Post-Avatar Blues
Jan 6th 2010 12:05PM (Scifi Squad)Don't these kids know about the already 1,000,000,000 already existent religions out there? Ones that don't revolve around really great CG and really mediocre story?
This reminds me of all the discussion after The Matrix Reloaded.
Sneak peek look at Cha-Ching for iPhone
Feb 26th 2009 12:34PM (TUAW.com)Something that isn't mentioned here - this *does* sync with the Desktop version, correct? That was my biggest desire with wanting this application so much, as I use Cha-Ching locally, but having an iphone version that synced and reconciled would be ridiculously useful.
Frankly, I'm lazy like most people, and I'm more willing to quickly type in an expenditure into my iphone when I'm at the location rather than later, when I get back to my system, have to pull out my receipts, etc.

Jan 27th 2008 8:46PM (Engadget)And even then - I don't think Vista's broken. And I"m a Mac user :p
All I know is before Vista, dumb dumbs complained that XP was too insecure, that they'd get virus, that crap would be installed without their permission, blah blah blah. Vista comes out, and now everyone complains about how it always wants someone's permission.
yeah, so does OSX. Big whoop. No one seems to care about that.

Mar 2nd 2006 10:13AM (Engadget)My big question is: What's the operating system? If it's just WindowsXP or some TabletPC derivative, then it's not particularly earth shattering. We can see all the Star Treck photos you want, but that really means little if the operating system is still significantly keyboard interface intrensic.
A new paradigm is necessary to make this project worthwhile. Otherwise...who cares, really?
