Hey Bungie, include open chat in Halo 3!

Jun 11th 2007 2:45PM (Joystiq Xbox)
@Morgon

exactly, just hit it with your right thumb and you can keep moving. This just becomes another part of strategy, the team that communicates more does better. It's not as if you could add open chat and suddenly all the people that refused to communicate strategically before would suddenly have a change of heart and become chatty.

and personally, i do quite a bit of swearing at times, and I'd prefer that that didn't go out over the team chat radio all the time.

I want to see 4-player co-op. with the size of the battles they're talking about for this game, that ought to be totally doable for once without breaking gameplay

dude? according to GameInformer (which these images also appeared in) some of these are screen shots. The ones with lightning are screenshots for example. That one where he's lifting rocks with lightning to toss at the rancor the rancor and the one with a stormtrooper getting slammed against the wall with sparks and a shockwave, both screenshots.

IN-GAME (not just in-engine) screenshots.

Yes. Start drooling.

Neal says:
"360 added on HDMI which they promised was not needed"

and that's still true, it's not needed. But a very vocal bunch of easily deceived internet users have gotten the false idea in their head that HDMI is in some way superior in picture quality compared to component and VGA. This is of course untrue, but that doesn't mean Microsoft isn't willing to take advantage of their collective delusion. Can you blame them?

Plus the fact that the HDMI spec wasn't finalized until months after the Xbox 360 launch, so even if they had included it from the beginning, that version of HDMI on the launch consoles might not be compatible with HDMI ports on TVs made today.

DMC4 or ES4:Oblivion... hmmm?"

you answered your own question 2 paragraphs later:

"360 came out earlier and now capcom is to lazy to port it over to PS3 because they know nobody will care a year later."

no one will care a year later. apply this to Oblivion and you have your answer
