The most adorable game of real-life Pac-Man you'll see today

Oct 29th 2011 4:32PM (Joystiq)
I wanted to see the kid, or dad for that matter, teleport from one side of the "map" to the other. This was awesome in and of itself but that would have made it magnificent.

Skyrim: I fought the dragon and the dragon (mostly) won

The more I read about this game the more I think I am going to purchase it. (PC) I have never played an Elder Scrolls game but something about this one yells "YOU HAVE TO PLAY THIS GAME AND YOU KNOW IT... SO PLAY IT! YA WANKER!"

Catwoman unlocked in Batman: Arkham City through online pass

"Playing as Catwoman is not required to complete the game,"

Playing with Catwoman is required if you'd like to unzip the jacket a bit further however.

Hackers add Waluigi to Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Waluigi reminds me way too much of Spinal from Killer Instinct and that scares me because Spinal was evil.

Super Mario 3D Land preview: New tricks

Am I the only one thinking this review isn't really a review let alone a good one? I was hoping for... more.

How The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword begins

Oct 8th 2011 11:13AM (Joystiq)
@RickGhastly

I wish they'd make a Zelda game in the vein of LoZ or ALTTP but make it absolutely gorgeous and huge. Make it 50 times larger than ALTTP while making it open world non-linear exploration like LoZ. Throw in a truly epic soundtrack and I'd be hooked.

Personally, I'm slowly but surely losing interest in the series. That saddens me because The Legend of Zelda has always been my favorite franchise in gaming.

(I should load up LoZ on my 3DS and give it another run though.)

Apple founder Steve Jobs passes away at 56

Oct 5th 2011 8:52PM (Joystiq)
While I may not purchase many of the products released by Apple I do appreciate and respect the creative direction they usually take. I'm sure Steve will be missed in some regard or another at Apple but here's hoping they continue to push the envelope as they have so far.

NES-cartridge art from 72 Pins makes retro games new, new games retro

Oct 2nd 2011 7:42PM (Joystiq)
I truly miss the days of seeing the cartridge art sticking out of your console. You could look at your console when it was turned off and visualize the world you would be in if you were to turn it on.

These days... you just see a console sitting there always looking the same. They should make completely transparent gaming consoles so that the only thing you see would be the disc. =)
