Played some great summer games on MNC, but once Reach came out I was gone. Shame, because there really was a little something special about it.

I'm glad to see Reach's campaign getting some love, it seems that most thought it was mediocre but I liked it a lot. In some ways it was like ODST: Spartan Edition, but I mean that in the best way possible. Bungie obviously took some cues from ODST, and I think they did a good job of it, but they made it more "Spartan-ized," using several of the best elements from each prior Halo. To me, that made it feel like a true culmination of the Halo series. I guess people didn't like ODST too much either though, so it's not really surprising.

Reach, Mass Effect 2, and Castlevania were the only 2010 retail games I played to completion this year, largely because ME2 took me so long. It was definitely my favorite of the three, although they're all great games.

I got Black Ops and Alan Wake for Christmas and I'm looking forward to getting started with those. And I've been sitting on Bioshock 2 for a while, played the first level and it felt good but it just didn't suck me in like the first. I should give it another go, I can tell it's a good game and I'm sure I'll end up loving it.

Lots of Arcade goodness as well, I probably picked up around 15 games but my gaming ADD means I've hardly finished any of them, pretty much just Limbo and Lara Croft. I want to advance in Meat Boy especially, but I'm stubbornly stuck on the 5-1 warp zone. Also, ZP2KX is as awesome as any full arcade release, despite being an indie game.

On the DS, I'm a couple years late to the party but I'm loving The World Ends With You. Cool story and a really fun battle system, it's pretty much my favorite DS game at the moment.

I was so happy to see ZP2KX finally drop on XBLM last night, I'll probably be playing it all weekend. Lotta fun for just a buck.

Also had a hankering for Ninja Gaiden II lately, maybe I'll play through that again. I only ever beat it on Acolyte because I'm weak, I think it's time to step my game up.

This was my goal, but it isn't gonna happen. I'm trying to do as much of work as possible this weekend and on Monday so I can be free all afternoon Tuesday to play Reach, so I don't know how much gaming is gonna get done.

Neverland, obviously. How the hell would zombies get there?

I like the colored text idea. This is definitely easier to read than the arrows, but color would just make it that much easier.

Went with Penny Arcade, but BitF was a close second and AVGW was pretty good too.

And I just noticed today that the characters in PA have only four fingers on each hand. Weird...

Gotta finish Mass Effect 2 before Reach comes out, maybe Bioshock 2 as well although I don't see that happening. And I'm making good progress through Shank, just got to the chapel with Angelo (I know it's like a 4 hour game, but I take 'em slow).

With school starting up on Monday, though, my game time is gonna drop pretty heavily.
