About time, I've always though DRM was completely pointless. Those who are going to download legally will download legally, those who don't just aren't going to. It's not like taking off DRM will make music any easier to download illegally, it's all out there anyways.

Punishing your few loyal customers with unfair DRM restrictions, such as forcing you to buy the same MP3 players for the rest of your life, or installing viruses on their machines, does little to make them want to continue buying legally. It's just too bad it's taken them this long to figure this out.

Just grab an old CD case, pull out the cover and backing (hint: the black part comes off with enough force), then put the manual under the tabs on the cover. Instant Wii Sports Case. May not be pretty, but it won't require you to be ultra-careful every time you take the game out of the case.

I love the Sony PR rep sitting next to him squirming as he gives the interview. I felt so bad for him :P

I don't get why Wii gets a 3 for media. Who gives a crap whether or not it plays DVDs? Who the hell doesn't already have like 3 devices that play DVDs? I'd rather it not play DVDs if it makes it 10 bucks cheaper.

Here's my makeshift case, it's a Sony Minidisc case, holds 4 games perfectly. Here's a few shots:

The great thing is that it was completely free, I don't use my good ol MD player anymore, which I must add has held up through years of abuse and is working perfectly, so not all Sony products are crap.

That one's an absolute classic. The Sony PR department is either incredibly stupid or have a really good sense of humor.

$50 for a rehash of a 3 year old game? No thanks! If Sony doesn't their system to completely die, they should start paying off publishers to keep their prices down. Why would I want to pay $50 for a game I've for the most part already played when I can pay $35 for a much better, and NEW, game for my DS?

RE4, Metroid Prime 1+2, SSB:M, Zelda:WW+TP, Viewtiful Joe, Eternal Darkness, F-Zero, Pikmin 1+2, Super Monkey Ball, Paper Mario, Mario Kart, Skies of Arcadia, Tales of Symphonia, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, and tons of other awesome games DON'T surpass the PSP's meager lineup of PS2 ports? The GC's lineup completely destroys the DS+PSP's linups COMBINED. It's undeniable.

Next time try dissing a system you have actually played.

When is Google going to make a music program? I can see them making an absolutely awesome media player.
