If you have a smartphone that can act as a router then the 3G Vita is uselss. Not to mention the fact that games can't be played online or downloaded using the Vita's 3G anyway (but of course this would work via your smartphone as the Vita will just see it as a normal WiFi connection).

The Vita 3G can only be used for patches and the social networking stuff.

With every marketing video I've seen about this game it seems SE really took to heart the complaints about FFXIII (which I liked, although of course I agreed with the criticisms). Less than a month until I get my Limited Edition and of this ^_^.

@A Sandwich I don't think the whole holidays sales rush thing is as big in Japan as it is in the Anglosphere.

@mrantimatter They did half of the what the WiiU will do back at E3 2006 when they showed off some of the PS3 features. It was supposed to have been possible to use your PSP as a rear view mirror in F1 racing, but they never did it. As someone above mentioned, hopefully this time round with a more powerful machine they'll better make use of this kind of connectivity.

But it still has the precise slicing of zan-datsu, and they talked about energy taking in the new trailer too. So I think the good point of the original Rising are still there :).

Please just announce the redesign.
