So it makes sense to release the 250GB HDD in a country where 360 sales are a complete joke, but not in America? Surely MS knows better than that. Unbelievable.
Will there be some kind of matchmaking system in Gears 2? I believe that it's more than coincidence that the top two Live titles both have quick and easy ways to get into games. Waiting for a room to fill up is so last gen.
I work at the only Gamestop in town here in Brunswick, Ohio, and we've had at least four 60GB PS3s sitting around for a week. Two people have returned them in the past week, so as of now we have six. I want to buy one, but I just can't justify it. My hope is that the price comes down now that the early adopters all have their systems. It's gonna be hard to sell it at that price, no matter what it's capabilities. I'm actually quite shocked at how many parents have bought the thing for their 8 year old kids. I never got anything that expensive as a child, and I don't know anyone who has. Even if the price doesn't come down, I'll get one once the killer apps (MGS4, DMC4, GOW3, Killzone) start arriving. Until then, Wii60 for me.
