BioWare, the fix is simple. Make Sonic Chronicles 2. I'll explain.

Sonic Chronicles had an amazingly well-done ending (ignoring the credits, obviously). It was the perfect set-up for a sequel, and writing it will require so little effort it's not even funny. And all of the problems from Sonic Chronicles are ridiculously easily fixed. AND you'd get lots of money from Sonic fans without having to worry about the mainstream media and all of your fans ripping on you for sucking (because let's face it, you kind of do now).
