I understand that they need to make their money back, but still... It was a deal at $5, I would have even been happy paying $10 on Xbox live.... but $20?
Being one of the few that really liked the game on XBL, I was kinda looking forward to this version since they were supposed to tone down the visualization aspect of the game. Maybe if it comes down in price...
But the game is not nearly as bad as everyone says it is. I'd seriously put this in the top 5 XBLA games released so far. Just remember to hit GameFAQS and read some of the hints. This game is way more involved then what a lot of the haters make it out to me.
There is a chance that they could be showing the correct footage.
Since this is a multiplatform title, it may be possible that they just have not changed the button callout assets yet. There have been games that I have worked on as a tester in which the assets were not changed untill there were only a few weeks left in the project. Depending on when the people at Game Trailers recorded this off the demo, or n a pre-release build.... it could be possible that the videos are correct, but the button assets have not been changed yet.
1. It currently does not track if your head turns or not "or it did, it didn't track it well".
2. The framerate was jittery, breaking the illusion at times.
3. There was another headtracking booth for PC based games that used glasses, but was equally as unimpressive.
It was a very early version of their head tracking software that has a lot of kinks to work out. I checked it out while I was there and honestly, it wasn't that impressive (at this time anyway). Maybe when it's a more refined a little down the road, Sony will display it again when it is deserving of more coverage.
If you played RE4 for the Wii, the Wiimote actually aims much better than the dual analog sticks that were native to the Gamecube. However, due to the fixed camera angles used in RE0, I don't know how well the Wiimote control will work.
I remember there used to be an Atari game that they had that was some sort of BMX simulator. You actually had to pedal while playing the game.... I never saw it anywhere else. I remember they had the original Street Fighter with the pressure sensitive punch bags. The Michael Jordan pinball that was mentioned earlier... Tons of great memories about that place. The last time I was there was maybe 5 years ago and they were still getting new fighters... I miss that place.
Well, it was a response to Romero's accusation of Wilson's partying. So if John was going to attack him for something that directly bites into Wilson's personal life, he should expect some of that thrown back at him.
One made Daikatana, the other crashed the VGAs during the Game of the Year Award.... I can't say that this hasn't been entertaining though. It's like a soap opera for geeks!
