The BDP, as many other dedicated dvd players do, will have better audio / video processors specifically for the task of video scaling and image sharpening. Like before, if all you wanted was a DVD player, sure, get a PS2, you'll save some money. but if you wanted a good DVD player, you bought a dedicated disc player. just because it's the same disc technology doesn't give the same results.
I saw this at the Games expo in Melbourne last weekend and it was actually quite impressive. However, I did ask the guy whether he had used it for a long period of time and it was a very unconvincing "yes, no headaches at all"! Kind of thing that could bring on epilepsy real quick.
Scritchy scratchy turntablez! (theres already one similar, no?) That iturntable is made for it. also scratching mp3's already on there would be amazing.. where it's at... i got two ipods and a microphone...
