Drew Brees singled out for Madden 11 cover

I wasn't expecting the Saints to be the top of the NFC South this year anyway; that's going to be the Bucs if history is any indication. But I'm a die hard Saints fan and I'd hate to see Drew Brees suffer from the curse. *Crosses Fingers* Of course, having Brees on the cover basically means I have to buy the next Madden even though it's just roster changes.

So can I play games without endangering my trophies if I don't log into the PSN network? It's not a big deal to temporarily disconnect the ethernet cable/unplug the modem.
